Faces of the Hands
The faces complete the picture—even if only in your imagination.

Welcoming all parts of the self into the light of being —
We reach upward to find the light of invisibility. We wait in silence.
We see our hands, and we feel how we are touching ourselves and others.
Gently pulling some of the threads between us.
So many years. Too much has happened that I could not see or feel before.
There is light. We know we are not alone and belong.
However, there is still a hole, and we are unsure how the invisible eyes are receiving this message.
I can feel the fear of the little ones.
My words are my response—the faces of the hands I can only imagine and believe.
I know my truth. I can’t make others change. And I can’t just wait.
I’ve been patient too long. If we wait in silence, the empty eyes become our own.
Open your eyes and remember who you are, not just what you are not.
The light will help you, and the "littles" hiding from the light.
You belong and are not alone.
Open your eyes and see me. All that you’ve become.
Reach upward and see your adult hands. Speak your truth.
That’s the response I've been waiting for. We’re home at home now.
The faces are alive. Grateful for a new beginning, not the end.
Imagine!
